OSSYRIUM – Fall from Purgatory

We are OSSYRIUM, a band from Bucharest formed in 2023.
Our music blends different styles from extreme metal, without sticking to a single formula.
You’ll find elements of grindcore, melodic death metal, black metal, and slam in our sound.
Our debut album, “Fall from Purgatory”, was recorded at Taine Multimedia Studio in Bucharest, a place familiar with the heavier side of music.
We chose Taine because we wanted to keep the raw energy of the songs and work in an environment that understands this kind of sound.
The lyrics explore themes of alienation, inner struggle, the collapse of humanity, and spiritual decay.
Each track has its own direction and atmosphere:

1. False Hope – about illusions leading to despair.
2. Ripped Eyes – about manipulation and self-destruction.
3. Stray Dogs – about instinct and survival.
4. Drowned in Entrails – just gutturals and pig squeals )))
5. Asphalt Haze – about environmental collapse and apocalypse.
6. Genesis 66 – inspired by biblical motives of human corruption.
7. Troglodytes – about conflict with societal ignorance.
8. Betrayal of Remorse / Salvation of Repentance – about guilt and repentance.
9. Early Exit – about giving up and struggling with suffering.
10. Pyrogore – about an inner fire that cannot be extinguished.
11. Fall from Purgatory – about the inevitable fall of souls into the final abyss.

Fall from Purgatory is our first step.
We aim to stay honest with what we feel and let the music speak for itself, without compromises.
